WHY CUSTOM JK

A bat made for one player. You.

Hand-selected willow

Every cleft is graded by me personally. Only the lowest-density, most responsive willow makes it to your bat.

Made by one bat maker

No production line. I shape, press and finish every bat personally in the Norwood workshop.

Built to your spec

Pickup, weight, profile, middle and toe — every dimension is tuned to how you bat, not an averaged template.

THE JOURNEY

From the Norwood workshop to the Ashes.

I started JK Cricket in 2014, pressing my first bats in a single-car garage in Adelaide. A decade later, JK bats are in the hands of Sheffield Shield run-leaders, T20 internationals and Test debutants — including bats taken into the 2025/26 Ashes Series.

"I used a bat with these elite properties as I topped the Sheffield Shield run charts and debuted for Australia. Jack just gets it."

FAQ

Questions, answered.

How long does a custom bat take to build?
Our standard turnaround time is 10 business days from the moment your order is placed to when it is dispatched from the Norwood workshop.
Is knocking-in included?
Yes. Every JK bat ships pre-prepared so it's match-ready out of the box. We still recommend a few light net sessions to bed the willow in fully.
What's the warranty?
We offer a 12-month workshop warranty against manufacturing defects. We're real people in Adelaide — if something isn't right, email me and I'll sort it.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we offer worldwide shipping via DHL Express. Shipping costs and delivery times will be calculated at checkout based on your location.
Can I return a custom bat?
Custom builds are made-to-order so we can't take change-of-mind returns, but every bat is covered by our 12-month warranty and 30-day reshape guarantee — if it doesn't feel right, we'll reshape or refurb it.
What if I don't know what spec to choose?
Click the 'Get a Recommendation' button at the top of the page. Tell me a bit about your playing style, and I will personally spec out the perfect bat profile for you.
